Only for Forum Attendees: Because the Flatpicking Forum will offer instruction at a higher level than even the Advanced classes in January, interested attendees must submit a short (1–3 minute) video of their playing. You’ll find a place to include your video link on the registration form.
Notes about the class levels:
– Nobody is required to attend classes at any particular level
– Everyone should feel free to move between classes to find the one that fits them best (even if it means leaving/arriving in the middle of the class)
– For many people (but not all), the number of fiddle tunes you know should help you determine your level: less than 10 (beginner), between 10 and 20 (intermediate), more than 20 (advanced), but for other people, they may fit best at a different level (either higher or lower)
ROOM & BOARD
– Camp tuition includes a hotel room for both Friday and Saturday nights
– Camp tuition includes various classes, jams, two faculty concerts, and a catered pizza party on Friday night
– The hotel provides a continental breakfast on Saturday and Sunday from 7 until 10 am
– Other than the continental breakfasts, campers will be on their own for food after the pizza party on Friday night. There’s no restaurant in the hotel, but there are many restaurants and grocery stores nearby. And, every room has a fridge, microwave, etc., so please feel free to bring a cooler if you’ll be driving in.
PREREQUISITES
